St. Francis (PA)'s Ryan Sheehan and Quinnipiac's Katie Gwyther were selected by the NEC as the men's and women's cross country Athletes of the Week. Both runners raced to record-setting, first place finishes at the Red Flash Invitational. Mount St. Mary's Matthew Logie and Sacred Heart's Kathleen Henry were tabbed the Rookies of the Week. Logie logged a top-ten finish, while Henry placed fifth at the Red Flash Invitational. Both runners were the top NEC freshman finishers at the meet.
