NEC Notebooks (2008-09)
For the third straight year in basketball and for the first time in football, the Northeast Conference (NEC) will offer weekly NEC Notebook segments. Hosted by longtime NEC announcer and ESPN Radio personality Paul Dottino, the one-minute vignettes will feature the latest NEC football and basketball news and can also be heard during each school's in-game broadcasts.
Beginning in December the Conference resumes its partnership with 1050 ESPN Radio, "The Sports Talk of New York," and will broadcast NEC Notebook basketball spots over the air and on the station's live webstream at www.1050espnradio.com. Spanning 13 weeks overall, the segments will air each Thursday from December through March during the Mike & Mike In The Morning (6:00 am to 10:00 am) and Brandon Tierney (7:00 pm to 10:00 pm) programs.
