Justin Rutty, Quinnipiac

Rutty earns the fourth Choice Hotels NEC Player of the Week award of his career after leading the Bobcats to an 84-75 win over in-state rival Yale in the Connecticut 6 Classic at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday. He posted his 31st career double-double - the most in Quinnipiac’s Division I history and the highest total among active NEC players - with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Rutty, the reigning NEC Player of the Year, hit 9-14 shots from the floor. With the win, the Newburgh, NY native has raised his career totals to 1,177 points and 808 rebounds. Rutty ranks 15th on the NEC career rebounding list and needs 30 more to crack the top-ten.
