Abeid was a key cog in the Red Flash’s run game for the second week in a row.  Retaining the NEC Rookie of the Week honor he earned for his performance at Monmouth, Abeid totaled 100 all-purpose yards and one touchdown.  The rookie running back rushed 11 times for 69 yards and a score and logged a 31-yard kickoff return. Abeid produced a 30-plus yard touchdown run for the second straight week when he sprinted into the end zone from 35 yards out to give the Flash a 17-3 lead midway through the second quarter.
