Earning his third Choice Hotels/NEC Rookie of the Week honor, Wiggins averaged 15.0 points, 3.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals as Mount St. Mary’s went 2-0 with wins over Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart. Against the Bobcats on Thursday, the Charlotte, NC native paced the Mount with a team-high 17 points, highlighted by a 10-of-11 shooting display from the charity stripe as MSM won 77-73. He followed that performance with a 13-point, six-assist outing in a 91-82 win over Sacred Heart. He also added four rebounds and two steals. Wiggins has now scored in double figures in five of his last six games, averaging 14.3 points over that stretch. For the year, he is contributing 7.4 ppg and shooting 51.9 percent from beyond the arc.
