Feirstein makes it back-to-back NEC Rookie of the Week accolades and raises her league-best total to four on the year. The St. James, NY product continued her recent offensive surge with six goals and four assists for ten points in two victories. She also contributed three ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers for the Hawks, who have won nine of their last ten entering the postseason. After tallying one assist all season coming into the contest, Feirstein registered four helpers and a goal in Monmouth’s 13-7 conquest of Wagner on Friday. Two days later, she netted a career-high five goals, all of which came in the first half as the Hawks built an 8-2 lead en-route to a 10-4 win over Mount St. Mary’s. She also tallied three ground balls, a pair of caused turnovers and one draw control. Feirstein, who has recorded 24 goals over the last seven games, is now third on the circuit with 2.47 gpg.
