The Monmouth tandem of sophomore Katie Degen and freshman Megan Nutter were both honored Monday as part of the NEC's weekly awards program for women's lacrosse. Degen claimed her second NEC Player of the Week honor after totaling 14 points (eight goals, six assists), 12 draw controls, nine ground balls and nine caused turnovers on the week as the first place Hawks extended their win streak to a school record 10 matches and improved to 6-0 in conference play. Nutter is now a five-time NEC Rookie of the Week winner after contributing six goals, six assists and four ground balls in three Monmouth victories.
