Loretto, PA -- The College Sports Information Directors of America announced the Capital One Academic All-District Teams Thursday with John Kelly (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) and Jeff Wasilewski (Ebensburg, Pa. / Central Cambria) taking first-team honors in district two.

Kelly holds a 3.85 grade point average and has already earned his undergraduate degree and is currently working on his masters. The Frederick, Md. native still holds one more season of eligibility with the Red Flash despite having already earned his undergraduate degree. Kelly has started all but one game for the Flash this season and has seen action in every game for SFU. Kelly ranks third all-time at Saint Francis in career passing yards, pass attempts, pass completions, touchdown passes and total offense. By earning first-team all-district honors, Kelly becomes a candidate for academic All-America, which will be named Dec. 8. The quarterbacks in the field of eight, Kelly holds the second highest GPA and is one of just two graduate students.

Wasilewski holds a 3.90 grade point average and has only received one B in his academic career. The junior wideout posted a career-high 122-yards against Sacred Heart this season while racking up 221 total receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Ebensburg, Pa. native is also an active member in the community doing volunteer work with special needs children. Wasilewski's brother Shawn has a condition known as apraxia and Jeff spends time with Shawn, as a camp consoler, at Camp PARC until he has to leave for preseason football camp. Wasilewski has the fourth highest GPA among the remaining student-athletes.

The Red Flash return to action to Saturday in SFU's regular season finale on the road against Bryant, kickoff is set for noon.
