Northeast Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Release (1/17)

It was a week highlighted by four first place finishes and a season best score as Alicia Ford of Saint Francis (PA) and Madison Vestergaard of Central Connecticut take home this week’s NEC Swimmer and NEC Diver of the Week honors. Ford posted two individual and two relay first place finishes as she helped the Red Flash to a 144-110 victory over Youngstown State. Her time of 24.38 in the 50 freestyle currently ranks second in the overall conference standings. While Vestergaard collects her fourth NEC Diver of the Week honor following a season best 255.08 score on the three meter.
