LIU's Annika Foit and CCSU'S Jamie Rademacher
After undefeated weeks, LIU Brooklyn and Central Connecticut athletes earn Molten/NEC weekly accolades. The Blackbirds' Annika Foit and Blue Devils' Jamie Rademacher share Molten/NEC Player of the Week accolades. Foit finished the week with 29 kills, hitting .537 with a 4.38 kills per set average. She also had seven service aces (for a 1.17 aces per set average), six digs and seven total blocks as the Blackbirds swept Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac. Rademacher was instrumental in the Blue Devils' three sweeps, contributing 30 kills and a .531 hitting percentage as well as per set averages of 3.33 kills and 1.56 blocks. Her teammate, Makenna Lommori, is both Molten/NEC Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week as she contributed on all sides of the court, totaling 87 assists, 16.0 blocks, 12 kills, nine digs, five aces and a .522 hitting percentage through three matches.
