Representatives from Garden State rivals Monmouth and Rider share the latest NEC Field Hockey Player of the Week award.  Monmouth’s Michelle Pieczynski and Rider’s Sandra Penas both tallied three goals over a two-game span last week that saw both the Hawks and Broncs improve to 4-1 in NEC play.  Meanwhile, Saint Francis (PA) remained undefeated (5-0) in conference games thanks to a helping hand from NEC Rookie of the Week Selena Adamshick.  The freshman midfielder scored the game-winner against Quinnipiac and assisted on Autumn Pellman’s overtime tally against Sacred Heart.
