Staten Island, NY -- Wagner College head football coach Walt Hameline has announced that nine student-athletes have elected to continue their education while pursuing a football career with the Seahawks.
Additional student-athletes will be announced at a later date as they become cleared for release through the athletic department’s compliance office.
“We’re excited about our newest Seahawks,” said Wagner Head Coach/Athletic Director Walt Hameline. “With this recruiting class, I am confident that we addressed many of our needs. I think this class is solid in all areas and academically it’s a very sound group. I applaud my assistant coaches for their hard work and dedication in helping us recruit a group of quality young men who I am confident will represent Wagner very well both on and off the playing field.”
