It was a week highlighted by fantastic performances on the diamond, as the Northeast Conference teams wrapped up tournament play for the spring. Robert Morris senior Sarah Capp collects NEC Player of the Week honors after putting on a hitting clinic as she helped the Colonials to a perfect 5-0 record at the UMBC Spring Classic. Heather Schwartzburg of Quinnipiac adds a second NEC Pitcher of the Week nod to her senior campaign, after she collected wins against CSU Bakersfield and San Diego. Freshman freshman hurlers Nicole Sleith of Robert Morris and Megan Reiner of Fairleigh Dickinson share NEC Rookie of the Week honors after both going undefeated on the mound last week.
