Wagner Seahawk Participates In March Of Dimes 5K

Staten Island, NY -- The Wagner Seahawk recently took part in the “March of Dimes 5K” at Clove Lakes Park to help raise efforts for infants who are born prematurely or with birth defects.
1 out of 8 children in the United States are born prematurely while 13 million children globally are born too soon. The March of Dimes helps raise money for research and treatment of premature births.
In local communities across the country, the March of Dimes helps moms take charge of their health, and supports families when something goes wrong. The March of Dimes also acts globally; sharing the best practices in perinatal health and helping improve birth outcomes where the needs are the most urgent.
