RMU's Lindsey Monger and LIU Brooklyn's Annika Foit
Robert Morris' Lindsey Monger and LIU Brooklyn's Annika Foit share Molten/NEC Player of the Week honors, as both athletes had impressive performances last week. Monger recorded her fifth straight double-double, recording 20 kills and 22 digs in the Colonials' 3-2 win over Big 12 opponent West Virginia. Foit led LIU Brooklyn to two wins on the week, finishing four matches with 61 kills for a 3.81 kills per set average and a .226 hitting average. Central Connecticut's Makenna Lommori is the Molten/NEC Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week after a well-rounded effort for the Blue Devils. he totaled 100 assists for 9.09 assists per set on the weekend, while also recording 1.27 blocks per set with 14 total blocks and 2.73 digs per set. She also contributed 12 kills and four aces. Lommori gets the nod for Molten/NEC Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week.
