Loretto, PA --
Members of the Saint Francis University football team volunteered at the Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed Children's Club in Ebensburg on Tuesday.

“We talk about it all the time with our players, playing football is a privilege and it is not enough to work out, come to practice and go to class,” head coach Chris Villarial said. “To be apart of this program you need to be apart of this community and never forget to give back.”

The AWANA is for boys and girls Kindergarten through 6th grade and the group meets every Tuesday to play games, learn Bible verses, and earn awards while discovering more about what God wants us to do from the Bible. The AWANA asked the Red Flash football team to come down and hang out with the children and talk about football and about their relationship with god.
