NEC MEN’S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mario Mastrangelo, Saint Francis U
Jr., F, Venetia, PA/Peters Township

Mastrangelo notched his third career hat trick, scoring all three goals in the second half of  Saint Francis U’s 3-0 win over Colgate on Sunday. After breaking the 0-0 tie in the 57th minute with a chip over the keeper, the junior scored two goals in a two minute span in the final 10 minutes to put the game away. Mastrangelo currently leads the league in goals (6) and points (12).

NEC MEN’S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jacob Labovitz, Fairleigh Dickinson
Fr., F, Great Falls, VA/Langley

Labovitz buried his second goal of the season in FDU’s 3-2 win over Iona on Saturday that boosted the Knights' record to a perfect 5-0 on the season. The freshman also worked hard to set up a corner kick which led to the game-winning score in the 84th minute.

NEC  PRIME PERFORMERS

Fairleigh Dickinson sophomore defender Wojciech Piwowarczyk (Garfield, NJ/Garfield) scored the game-winning goal in the 84th minute of FDU’s 3-2 win over MAAC opponent Iona.

Robert Morris midfielder Bayley Winkel (Whitby, Ontario/Henry Street) scored two goals in two games for the Colonials over the weekend. The senior leads the team in goals (5) and points (11).
