On the hardwood, he was third in the Big 10 Capital Region District with 18.5 ppg and also averaged seven rebounds, and five assists per game as a senior. He was named Player of the Year by the Amsterdam Recorder and chosen as a First Team All-Star by the Daily Gazette and the Albany Times Union.
On the gridiron, he led the Rams to three Big 10 championships and the Class A State Title in 2005 as a quarterback/safety.
Deane also announced that Jaren Haley, a freshman guard from Woodbridge, VA, is no longer with the team. Haley has not seen any action during the 2007-2008 season.
