Tournament Format
The top four finishers, based on winning percentage during the Conference’s regular season will compete in a two-day, single-elimination tournament.  The high seed will host the entire event. If the high seed is unable to host, then the option goes to the #2 seed.

The winner of the NEC Tournament will advance to the NCAA Tournament which begins with first
round play on either December 3-4, 4-5 or 5-6.

Tickets will be available the day of the event at the host site.  Tickets prices will be set once the host is determined.  All NEC students with an institutional I.D. will be admitted free.

BY CAR
Municipal parking is available on Flatbush Avenue Extension, directly across from the campus. There is also a parking garage on Hudson Place between DeKalb Avenue and Fulton Street.

From Manhattan – via Manhattan Bridge: Proceed along Flatbush Avenue Extension, turn left on Myrtle Avenue and then right on Ashland Place. Proceed two blocks to DeKalb Avenue and turn right. The Campus is on your right at the corner of DeKalb and Flatbush avenues.

– via Brooklyn Bridge: Proceed along Adams Street and make left turn onto Tillary Street, keeping right. After crossing Flatbush Avenue Extension bear right onto Navy Street, which becomes Ashland Place; proceed two blocks and turn right on DeKalb Avenue. The Campus is on your right at the corner of DeKalb and Flatbush avenues

From Queens/Long Island: Take the Long Island Expressway (495 West) to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (278 West) to Tillary Street exit. Keep right on Tillary Street. Follow Tillary Street to Flatbush Avenue and make a left, then a left on Myrtle Avenue and a right on Ashland Place. Proceed two blocks and turn right on DeKalb Avenue. The Campus is on your right at the corner of DeKalb and Flatbush avenues

From Brooklyn or Staten Island: Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (east) to Cadman Plaza West. Follow Cadman Plaza West to Tillary Street. Bear right on Tillary Street and keep right, crossing Flatbush Avenue Extension and bearing right onto Navy Street, which becomes Ashland Place. Proceed on DeKalb Avenue and turn right. The Campus is on your right at the corner of DeKalb and Flatbush avenues

From Northern New Jersey: Take New Jersey Turnpike south to Holland Tunnel. Proceed on Canal Street east to Manhattan Bridge. See directions from Manhattan via the Manhattan Bridge above.

From Southern New Jersey: Take New Jersey Turnpike north to Exit 10 (Outerbridge Crossing) to 278 East Verrazano Bridge and follow to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Follow directions from Brooklyn.

From New England/Westchester County: Take Merritt Parkway South or 95 South to the Hutchinson Parkway South and over the Whitestone Bridge. Take 678 South (Van Wyck Expressway) to 495 West (Long Island Expressway). Follow directions from Queens.

The Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University is served by all major subway lines:
• 4 or 5 train (Lexington Ave. Line) or the 2 or 3 trains (Seventh Ave. Line) to Nevins Street Station
• B and Q train (express) or M and R trains (local) to DeKalb Avenue Station
• A, C, or G trains (Eighth Ave. Line) to Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street Station

The Flatbush Avenue terminal of the Long Island Rail Road is four blocks from campus.

BY AIRPLANE (For the Port Authority airport travel information, visit www.panynj.gov)

The nearest airports are LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy airports in Metropolitan New York and Liberty International Airport in Newark, N.J. are all less than one hour from Long Island University. Bus, taxi and limousine service are available at all airports. Connecting train service is available at Newark Liberty.
