Quinnipiac, the 2009 NEC runner-up, tallied two first place votes and was picked third, while Robert Morris was slotted fourth. Mount St. Mary’s and Wagner were selected in fifth and sixth place, respectively. Long Island, Bryant, Central Connecticut State and Saint Francis (PA) rounded out the field. | Quinnipiac Women's Lacrosse Signs Six To National Letters Of Intent |
Quinnipiac University women’s lacrosse Head Coach Danie Caro has announced the signing of six players to National Letters of Intent for the 2010-2011 academic year. Meredith Donaldson (Delray Beach, Fla.), Kayla Fu (Severna Park, Md.), Phoebe Laplante (Acushnet, Mass.), Emily Samuelman (North Andover, Mass.), Michaela Tinsley (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Melissa Warheit (Commack, N.Y.) will all join the Bobcats in the fall of 2010. "We’re really excited about this recruiting class," said Caro. "All of these players are great student-athletes and I think they will fit in well with our existing players. They each bring something to the table that our program needs and we are anxious to see them on the field next year."
