| Monmouth's Ryan Kinne Named BigAppleSoccer.com College Player of the Year |
Monmouth University junior midfielder Ryan Kinne (Naugatuck, Conn. /Naugatuck) has been named the BigAppleSoccer.com Men’s College Player of the Year, the site announced on Friday afternoon. "I couldn’t be happier for Ryan; he had another exceptional season at Monmouth," said head coach Robert McCourt. "Being named a First Team All-American is an amazing accomplishment and he is the epitome of the term student-athlete. His talent, determination and leadership have enabled him to have a lot of success. All of his accolades are a direct reflection of the hard work he puts into his development as a player." Kinne beat out four other finalists for the award -- Adelphi freshman forward Issa Tall, Fairleigh Dickinson freshman forward Dominic Reinold, St. John’s junior forward Sverre Wegge Gundhus and Fordham sophomore midfielder Tim Richardson.

| Trio of St. Francis (NY) Men's Soccer Players Named To NSCAA North Atlantic All-Region Squads |
The St. Francis College men’s soccer team has placed three student-athletes on the NSCAA/Adidas North Atlantic Region First, Second and Third Teams, the organization announced. The trio is comprised of senior midfielder Semso Nikocevic, who was selected to the All-North Atlantic Region First team. Senior defenseman Javier Gonzalez was named to the All-North Atlantic Region Second Team while defenseman Anthony Matos was named to the organization’s Third Team squad. "I am truly proud of Sammy, Javier and Anthony on their recognition," said head coach Tom Giovatto. "The hard work, determination and tenacity that each person has put into this program has been rewarded through this acknowledgment.”
