| St. Francis (NY) Women's Golf Adds Staten Island Native Lauren Suarez For 2010-11 Season |
St. Francis College head women’s golf coach Julio Campuzano has announced that Lauren Suarez (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph’s by the Sea) will join the Terriers for the 2010-11 season. Suarez enjoyed her best performance during the 2010 Kiwanis Junior Golf Tournament, in which she carded a 55 and 54 through 24 holes at the event, taking first place honors. This past season, she was the captain of the team, leading St. Joseph’s to an undefeated regular season. Suarez has achieved second place finishes at the Staten Island Junior Amateur and the Jody Junior Golf Tournament, both occurring in 2009.

| Robert Morris Golfer Tess Wolfe Named NGCA All-American Scholar |
Tess Wolfe (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Blackhawk), who just completed her freshman season on the Robert Morris University women’s golf team, was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team. Wolfe, a mathematics major, is the only player from the Northeast Conference to earn the honor and the fourth Colonial in the last three seasons to be placed on the team. Wolfe had the fifth-best scoring average on the team in her freshman campaign at 86.4 per 18 holes. She finished the year by posting three top-10 finishes in the team’s final four tournaments, highlighted by a third-place showing at the Saint Francis Red Flash Invitational.
