Saint Francis (PA)'s Christin Bridge Headed To NCAA Championships In Shot Put
SFPA's Christin Bridge
For the second consecutive year, Saint Francis (PA)'s Christin Bridge (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) will compete for an NCAA championship. By virtue of Bridge’s 15.08m/49’5.75" in the shot put that won the Olympic Development division at the Penn Relays, Bridge ranked 36th in the NCAA’s East region in 2010 in the Shot Put and has therefore earned the opportunity to represent the Saint Francis women’s track & field team and compete at the NCAA Championships - First Round in Greensboro, N.C. this coming weekend. "This accomplishment is just part of the stellar year that Christin is having," said Red Flash head coach Gordon Thomson. "Hopefully she will be able to continue to build upon those accomplishments."
