			•  Won the 400th game of his career on a three-pointer at the buzzer in the Knights’ 2007-08 regular
season finale.
• Winningest coach in FDU history (400 victories), as well as NEC history with 257 regular season
league wins and 26 tournament victories.
• Ranks 32nd among active NCAA Division I coaches in career victories and fifth in career longevity
at the same institution.
• The Knights’ NEC regular season title in 2005-06 was the fifth in his tenure.
• FDU’s NIT appearance in 2006 was the second in school history (1991).
• FDU’s 20-12 record in 2005-06 marked the seventh time in his career that the Knights have
won 20+ games and second back-to-back 20-win campaign.
• Guided Knights to their fourth league crown and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in
2004-05, joining his teams from 1984-85, 1987-88 and 1997-98.
• His four NEC titles are the most of any coach in league annals.
• The Knights put a scare into top-seeded Illinois in the first round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament,
trailing by just one at the half before falling by 12.
• Helped engineer an NEC-best 11-game turnaround for FDU in 2002-03.
• Won his 300th game at FDU on February 18, 2001.
• FDU has finished at .500 or better in 18 of his 24 seasons as head coach.
• Led Knights to the NEC title in 1997-98 and a near upset of UConn in the first round of the
NCAA Tournament.
• Became FDU’s all-time wins leader in 1996-97.
• His ’90-’91 team went to the NIT for the first time in school history.
• His teams have been in 16 of the last 23 NEC tourney semifinals.
• Named NEC Coach of the Year in ’86 and ’87.
