NEC Football Review: Robert Morris, Stony Brook Remain Unbeaten In NEC; Monmouth, Albany Prevail
Robert Morris (5-2, 3-0 NEC) and Stony Brook (3-4, 3-0 NEC) continued their winning ways on Saturday and remain undefeated in conference play. The Colonials needed two overtime periods to hold off No. 19 ranked Central Connecticut State (5-2, 1-2 NEC), 23-17, at Joe Walton Stadium to win their fifth straight. After a potential game-winning field goal by CCSU was missed wide right in the first overtime, RMU held the Blue Devils offense in the second overtime and then quarterback Erik Cwalinski threw a 14-yard TD to wideout Mario Hines to win the game. In the loss, CCSU runner Justise Hairston ran for 256 yards and two scores.

Gensler ranks second in I-AA football in tackles-for-loss per game (1.86) and second in sacks per game (1.29). Currently, the senior has 47 tackles, 13.0 TFL and 9.0 sacks on the season.
